Tutorial Enhancement Through Motion Graphics

Transformed a traditional recorded lecture into an engaging learning experience using motion graphics, animated infographics and visual storytelling to improve comprehension and information retention.

Challenge

Long-form recorded lectures often rely heavily on spoken explanations, making it difficult for learners to retain key statistics, comparisons, and complex concepts. Important figures and data can be easily forgotten when presented only verbally.

Approach

Enhanced the lecture with purposeful motion graphics to transform passive viewing into a more engaging learning experience. Animated infographics, charts and graphs were designed to reinforce the lecturer’s narration, allowing learners to simultaneously hear and visualise important information. Relevant stock footage was also integrated to contextualise abstract concepts and maintain viewer engagement throughout the presentation.

Impact

The final video became more visually engaging and easier to follow, with complex information distilled into clear, memorable visuals. By pairing narration with animated data visualisations and contextual imagery, the content improved the clarity and retention of key figures, statistics and concepts without altering the lecturer’s original delivery.

Student Experience Survey Campaign

Produced a fast-turnaround promotional video for campus digital signage, using motion graphics and visual hierarchy to maximise engagement while working within existing brand assets and a tight production timeline.

Challenge

Create a short promotional video encouraging students to participate in the annual Student Experience Survey. The project had a turnaround time of only a few days and was limited to pre-approved graphic assets, while needing to remain engaging on large digital displays across campus.

Approach

Designed a concise motion graphics piece that maximised the impact of the existing campaign assets through animation, pacing and an upbeat soundtrack. As the video was intended for large-format digital screens in high-traffic common areas, the layout leveraged the available screen space to present multiple pieces of information simultaneously. This reduced the need for additional scenes while allowing the messaging to remain clear, visually engaging and easy to absorb within a brief viewing window.

Impact

Delivered a dynamic 25-second promotional video that transformed static campaign materials into an eye-catching digital display. The concise format and efficient information hierarchy were optimised for passing audiences, increasing the likelihood that key messages could be understood even during brief moments of attention.

NTU Interactive Maps Launch Campaign

A motion-led product launch video introducing the enhanced NTU Interactive Maps

experience, showcasing new navigation features and guiding users through the

Omnibus app.

Challenge

The launch of enhanced NTU Interactive Maps introduced powerful new navigation

features, but users needed a simple way to discover and understand how to use them.

Approach

Developed a motion-led product walkthrough that combined screen recordings,

animated graphics, and clear visual cues to demonstrate key features, explain access

via the Omnibus app, and communicate the benefits through a concise, engaging

narrative.

Impact

Produced a promotional explainer that supported the launch of the enhanced maps

experience, improved feature awareness, and made the new navigation tools easier for

the NTU community to adopt.

Campus Connectivity Announcement

Produced a corporate motion graphics video illustrating the upcoming MRT stations near NTU, using animated maps and progressive visual storytelling to communicate future campus connectivity.

Challenge

Produce a short corporate video highlighting the upcoming MRT stations that will improve accessibility to the university. The challenge was to communicate transport developments in a clear and engaging manner while presenting geographical information that could be understood at a glance.

Approach

Developed an animated illustrated campus map that simplified complex transport information into an intuitive visual narrative. Motion graphics, camera movements and animated location markers were used to progressively introduce the new MRT stations and their proximity to key campus landmarks. By revealing information sequentially rather than all at once, the animation guided viewers’ attention and made the evolving transport network easier to understand.

Outcome

Delivered a concise corporate animation that effectively communicated future campus connectivity. The combination of map illustration and motion graphics transformed static location data into a clear visual story, making transport developments more accessible and engaging for students, staff and visitors.
