Future Campus Vision for CIO Summit
Illustrated a series of stylised campus landmarks for the CIO Summit animation, creating production-ready architectural environments that supported the event’s vision of a future-ready NTU.
Challenge
Develop a series of architectural illustrations for a CIO Summit animation showcasing NTU’s vision of a future-ready campus. The illustrations needed to accurately represent iconic campus landmarks while integrating seamlessly into an animation that already had an established storyboard and visual style.
Approach
As part of the creative team, I was responsible for illustrating the architectural environments featured throughout the animation. Rather than creating a new artistic style, I studied the project’s existing visual language and adapted my illustrations to match it, ensuring consistency across the production. Complex architectural forms were simplified into clean, stylised vector artwork while preserving the distinctive features of each building. The illustrations were also designed with animation in mind, allowing them to integrate naturally into the established motion graphics workflow.
Impact
Produced a cohesive series of architectural illustrations that blended seamlessly with the animation’s visual direction and contributed to the overall narrative of NTU’s future campus vision. The project demonstrated the ability to collaborate within an established creative pipeline while maintaining consistency in style and quality.
